We live in a society where everything is at our fingertips if only we’re willing to work for it. But God goes against the grain. Pastor Bill reminds us today that there’s nothing you can actively do in order to earn salvation or grace or love from God – those things are given freely already, if only you accept them. It’s an unnatural feeling, to be completely accepted, even when all our flaws are known. If you’ve received Christ, you know that everything you do is merely in response to everything He’s already done.
