As followers of Christ, we know there are times when it’s better to turn the other cheek when we’re offended or to reach out to a brother when we’re struggling. However, sometimes we bottle everything up simply because we think that’s what we’re supposed to do - even as our hearts grow weary inside. That’s why Pastor Bill reminds us that we can’t live one way in front of others and another way when we’re alone. We’re called to walk in sincerity, bringing both our struggles and our lives before God.
