When you were growing up, how often did your parents set a boundary, and how often did you push it? It could be a curfew, not eating a certain thing, or messing with your sibling. You pushed the limit, and it probably drove your parents mad! What about today? How often do you push the limit of the things God calls you to stay away from? Those things can be so tempting, but they will hurt you in the end. Today, Pastor Bill shares that you must RUN from the things God calls you to avoid! 

Trust is a big deal. It is hard to build, but it can be quickly taken away. When you place your trust in someone, do you place your full trust or only partial trust? Placing your full trust is vulnerable because the thought in your mind can be “what if I get hurt?” This is a real question, and the reality is that if you place your trust in people, they will hurt you, but there is one who will never hurt you or leave you! Today, Pastor Bill shares that Jesus is the one in whom you can place your FULL TRUST in and KNOW He will never hurt you. 

Have you ever been told to do something and not feel empowered to do so? That never feels great; in fact, it causes us to see the task as impossible and not act! Hesitation to act on God's commands shows a lack of faith. Jesus offers us something different. When the Lord commands you to do something, He will empower you to do the thing He CALLS you to do. Today, Pastor Bill shares that when the Lord commands you to act, not only do you act because He is God, but you know that He will be with you in doing so. 

Getting time away from the busyness of this world is so important. The world around us is noisy and constantly pulling our attention from things. It could be the notifications we hear “ding” on our phones, or the constant news cycle that plays 24/7. What “noise” do you want to escape from? If Jesus went to spend time with the Father, why do we think we are exempt from that? Today, Pastor Bill shares that Jesus withdrew from the crowds to spend time with the Father, and as believers, we are called to do the same. 

Trusting someone is hard to do. We live in a world that tells you to “trust no one” and “everyone is out to take advantage of you”. This is a message you might have been told personally by others. Friends, I want you to know that there is someone you can trust, and that is Jesus. Today, Pastor Bill shares that you can put your complete faith in Jesus. Because of the perfect sacrifice that He displayed on the cross by defeating sin, Satan, and death, you can be freed from the penalty of sin and be completely forgiven. 

When was the last time you felt tested? Tests are hardly seen as a good thing for you to grow and develop, but the way God tests us, this is the plan. God uses tests to help you mature as a believer. He knows you and doesn’t need to test you to see where you are; the test is to reveal to YOU where you are in your walk with Him. Today, Pastor Bill enlightens you on the purpose of tests and how, in enduring them, they will yield fruit in your life. There is much to benefit from when being tested by God! 

When you hear the word prayer, what comes to mind? Some people treat God like a genie and just go to him for things. Some people just call out to God when things are bad. Going to God when things get hard isn’t a bad thing, but God desires more than just running to Him in hard times; He desires a relationship. Today, Pastor Billy shares that God desires your heart. When you are in a relationship with the Lord, you can confidently go to the Father in prayer, asking Him for courage, wisdom, and discernment.

When you speak the truth to people, it can be met with acceptance or rejection. Speaking the truth is good for growth, but it can cut like a knife. It can feel like tough criticism and hard to hear, but it is for your benefit. Today, Pastor Bill shares that if you are someone who speaks the truth, you are in good company. John was a man who spoke truth and pointed others to the truth, Jesus. In doing this, he had an effective ministry. He led others to hope, peace, and purpose that can only be found in Christ.  

If you represent something, people will treat YOU how they feel about it. It could be a job, a team, a political affiliation, or a Christian. You desire for them to treat you like a person, but when they see you, they see the thing you sponsor. Friends, I want you to know that if you are a believer and they see Christ, you are doing it RIGHT! Today, Pastor Bill shares that people will see what you represent and not really you. This is what you are called to do as a believer, and if you can represent anything, Jesus is the best there is!     

Have you ever felt the weight of your guilt? You feel so bogged down and heavy, and you don’t know who to turn to… Friends, I want you to know that you don’t have to carry that weight. There is someone who loves you and wants you to turn from your sin and turn to Him, and that person is Jesus! Today, Pastor Bill gives an encouraging message on how you don’t have to carry the guilt you feel from your sin, but you can be free from the guilt and shame when you CONFESS and REPENT of your sin and turn to Christ.
