When someone asks you to get ice cream, your answer is always either a yes or a no. You can’t be half there and half not there; you either go to get ice cream or you don’t. It’s that simple. The same goes for your decision for Christ. In today’s message, Pastor Bill says that a decision on Jesus is either a yes or a no. There’s no gray area, neutral, or maybe. It’s all or nothing. What’s holding you back from accepting Christ? How can you take the steps to make a true decision on Him and your eternity today?

Have you ever read a book from cover to cover and just didn’t really get it... Some books require more attention and background information than others to fully understand them. The Bible is one of them. In today’s message, Pastor Bill says that when telling nonbelievers about Christ, start with the GOSPEL. A non-believer won’t understand the significance of the Word if there’s no understanding of the overarching main idea of the Bible and why it exists. Start with the Gospel, then talk about the Bible.

How amazing is it to have all of your debts forgiven? Whether it’s from loans, other people, or even in sin! We love forgiveness, and we seek it all the time. In today’s message, Pastor Bill talks about the significance of Jesus coming down to earth, living a perfect and Holy life, dying on the cross, and then resurrecting 3 days later. He did it for YOU AND ME! He saw that the only way for all of humanity to be saved is to have the Ultimate Lamb come and be sacrificed so that today, your sins can be forgiven. 

Have you ever asked a toddler a question, and you get a blank stare in response? It’s not that you were ignored; the toddler just didn’t understand you and isn’t developed enough to get it yet. In today’s message, Pastor Bill talks about understanding something from God but then trying to explain it to someone else, and that person isn’t getting the same clarity as you. It’s tiring, but remember that maybe this person wasn’t ready to hear that message yet. God will reveal it to that person when the time is ready.

I’ve definitely had an error in judgment like Pastor Bill was saying; there are many times when I have judged someone and was completely wrong. Then I remembered, I’m not the one who should be judging. In today’s message, Pastor Bill says that there’s no point in trying to search for those who are faking their relationship with God; that’s not your place. All judgment will come from God and God only. Trying to find those who are faking it may push away actual believers more than finding the non-believers.

Buying apples from the grocery store is convenient, but have you ever picked them straight from the farm? It’s so much better! They didn’t go through a distribution process; they were just picked off the tree and straight into your mouth. In today’s message, Pastor Bill says that when you don’t understand something, ASK GOD! Of course, other pastors, commentators, and podcasts can help, but what’s better than getting the information straight from the source? He is here to help you understand Him better.

It’s well known that the things we consume become the things at the forefront of our minds. If you consume something inappropriate, then your mind will start thinking of those things more often. If you consume the Bible, your mind will think of that before anything. In today’s message, Pastor Bill says growing deeper in the Word means that over time, you’ll start to shape your life closer to what the Bible says. Good news! YOUR life is bearing fruit, and you’re growing to be more like Jesus every single day.

In a workplace, there’s always someone who’s above you. There will always be a manager, a supervisor, or even a regional manager. There’s a hierarchy in work, but not in God’s eyes; He sees you and me all the same, and that’s the best part! In today’s message, Pastor Bill says that no one is above the other. God loves you the same as He does someone else, and He gives you just as much of an opportunity to grow deeper and deeper with Him as he does someone else. It’s just up to you on how deep YOU choose to go. 

Imagine how hard it is to talk to someone through a closed door; it’s nearly impossible for you two to hear each other! One person will try to talk, and the other will go “WHAT?!” Well, that’s how God feels if you close the door of your heart to Him. In today’s message, Pastor Bill says that consistently rejecting God when He is presenting Himself to you can build up a wall in your heart. Then, you won’t be able to hear Him at all. So, break down that wall, open your heart, and listen to what He has to say to you!

When you have an idea and you share it with your friends, but no one listens, would you continue to tell them that idea? No! You go to someone who will listen. In today’s message, Pastor Bill says that as hard as it is to want the people closest to you to be saved, maybe venturing out to other people will be more successful. At some point, sharing the Gospel with someone who doesn’t want to hear it is like talking to a brick wall, but maybe the Gospel is EXACTLY what someone needs to hear today; share it!
