And as it turns out, that afternoon happened to be one of the craziest sports fan experiences in recent memory. Cohost Cale Clinton writes about the sport for Football Outsiders, and he's also Jackson's classmate at the Newhouse School of Communications. So the two figured they'd join forces and electrify the football podcasting universe, which feels inevitable after listening back to Episode 1. Some things that were discussed:
