We all started somewhere. It's easy to forget that watching someones finished product they were a beginner one day long ago.
This week on Tuesday Morning Coffee I chatted with my buddy and previous co-worker Mark Mayr. Mark and I met a few years ago when we were both working at Vaynermedia, albeit on opposite coasts. I was always blown away with how dialed Marks work was and I'm happy we finally got a proper opportunity to sit down and chop it up about his upbringing, making the jump to chase his dreams on a different coast and staying grounded and happy as a creative.

Jake Chams is a Photographer & Videographer based out of Portland, Oregon. After sneaking his camera into a local Mac Miller show in college and abruptly being kicked out, he turned that experience into the starting point of a career documenting some of the biggest musicians in the world. Jake had toured with artists like Panic! At the Disco, Marshmello & Lorde and in this episode we dug deeper into the aspects of creatively that keep you growing and getting better, the downsides of social media and the value of staying grounded in a world moving faster than ever. Ryan and I talk a lot about the future of content creation, when the right time to "jump" is and how vulnerability can be the breakthrough for so many creators. Family! It has been a minute, I never actually intended to take such a massive break from the podcast, but as the world started to shift around I wasn't able to keep the interviews going the way I planned. Since this just maybe life for a bit we're bringing the pod back and keeping the conversations going. This is a quick update episode on the future of the podcast and what I've been up to since ending the Adobe Creative Residency. I'm hyped to be back. It's time for Tuesday morning Coffee.

Scott Belsky is an executive, entrepreneur, investor & author.
In 2006 he founded Behance a revolutionary platform for creative people around the world to share their work. 6 years later that company was acquired by Adobe and that's currently where Scott resides as the Chief Product Officer. I was super honored to be able to sit down with Scott last week in NYC and talk about creativity, something that impacts his everyday life. We talked about what it means to create impact, knowing which ideas to follow & the future of the creative industry. This is Tuesday Morning Coffee with Scott Belsky.

This week on the podcast I'm in London talking food with fellow Creative Resident Julie Sanduski. As of a year ago I never gave much thought to my plastic consumption, or where my left over food scrapes went, but after meeting Julie and becoming familiar with he work she's doing that's all changed. I'm excited to be dropping this episode and hope you guys take some value on how your everyday decisions impact the world. This is Tuesday Morning Coffee with Julie Sanduski.

Welcome to Season 2 of Tuesday Morning Coffee!
I'm so excited to be back and bringing a fresh batch of podcasts to your ears on Tuesday mornings. We're kicking off Season 2 with Jake Frew. A couple months ago I received a email from Jake, explaining his story of applying and interviewing for the Creative Residency and ultimately not receiving it. But instead of just moving on he took the initiative of taking his project and selling it to a different brand and getting to follow through with what he set out to do. I was super inspired hearing this and we finally got Jake out to NYC for a few days to record this podcast and make a bunch of cool stuff. This feels like the perfect episode to launch season 2 and kick off 2020, ultimately you have 2 options in life, allow things to happen to you or take control and push for the life you want. This is Tuesday Morning Coffee with Jake Frew.
