A reflection on endings, beginnings, and the sacred pause between them.
Hello and welcome to Tuesday Musings. Hi, I’m Juli (Peaceful Healer) and lets explore the veil between worlds’- a reflection on endings, beginnings and the sacred pause between them. As the wheel of the year turns once more, we arrive at Samhain — the ancient Celtic festival that marks the end of the harvest and the beginning of the darker half of the year. 🍂
Samhain is often called the time when the veil between worlds is thin — when we feel more connected to the unseen, to memory, to spirit. It’s a season for reflection, release, and quiet gratitude.
In nature, we see this shift everywhere. The trees let go of their leaves, the air grows cooler, and the Earth begins to rest. What looks like an ending is really a soft beginning — a return to stillness, to root, to renewal.
Samhain reminds us that letting go is not loss. It’s transformation.Just as the fields are cleared for next year’s growth, we too are invited to release what we no longer need — old stories, worries, patterns that have run their course.
It’s also a time to remember those who came before us — ancestors, loved ones, guides. Their energy lives on in our hearts, in our gestures, in the kindness we carry forward. Lighting a candle, whispering a name, or simply pausing in gratitude honors that continuity.
🍂🕯️And in the quiet of this season, as the days grow shorter, we’re called inward — to listen to the wisdom that can only be heard in stillness. To trust the darkness not as something to fear, but as a place of deep rest — the fertile soil of creation. So this week, as we cross this threshold between light and dark, may you take a moment to honour all that has been.Give thanks for what has grown.Release what’s complete. And welcome the stillness that makes space for what’s to come.
The veil is thin — not only between worlds, but between the parts of ourselves that seek to reconnect.May this Samhain bring you peace, remembrance, and renewal. 🍂🕯️
