Drew Anderson is a damn baller. In seven overtimes, Buffalo put up 68 points and lost to Western Michigan (71) in the highest-scoring game in FBS history (139). In that game, Anderson, who is the backup quarterback at UB, threw for 597 yards to set a single-game passing record in the MAC. He also threw for seven TDs, 0 INTs and wasn't sacked at all.
Good thing we previewed this game in the last episode, right?
Don't worry, there was more stupidity to go around. Cody Thompson's hurt and out for the year, so that's a drag. Ohio, the MAC East favorite, lost to Central Michigan and Bowling Green got its first win of the season over Miami. I guess this means the new top dog in the East is... Akron? Wait, what?
