Some people like to test the boundaries, they like to see just far over the line they can reach while still staying on the safe side. Imagine you're walking and see a snake and then you think, “how close can I get before I get bit?” This is sort of the same thing. Questions like “how much sin can I commit before...” and you fill in the blank, these questions aren't beneficial to our walk. God makes the guidelines that He does to keep His children safe.
