Text: 1 Samuel 1-2
The story of Hannah's faith and relationship with God serves as an amazing example to us all. God is near to the brokenhearted, and Hannah shows us what that looks like. She was mocked, ridiculed, and misunderstood, but she never lost faith. God heard her prayer and provided her with a child who would help change the course of history.

Series: Miracle Babies: God's Promises Wrapped in Blankets
The birth of Samson is miraculous, and it also teaches us a lot about how God works for and through his people. God acts first. God looks for those with simple faith. And God uses imperfect people just like you and me. We also see how Jesus is the new and better Samson. Christ is all over the story of Judges 13.

Series – Miracle Babies: God's Promises Wrapped in Blankets
The miraculous birth of Jesus is preceded by other important miracle babies throughout the Bible. We begin with the story of Abraham, Sarah, and Isaac – how they trusted in God even though it seemed downright laughable. God definitely has a sense of humor.

On this Sunday before Thanksgiving, we take time to reflect on the Story of Scripture, the Story of God with his people, the story of us - of you and me and God. The Story can be broken up into 6 main "Acts" - 1) Creation, 2) Fall, 3) Israel, 4) Jesus, 5) Church, 6) New Creation. These are not just ancient stories of people long ago. This is our story, too!
This week Jennifer Freeman and Shannon Baxter share their stories. Jennifer's story is one of searching for the Christ she always knew while struggling to find a church family that would accept her. Shannon's story is an update on his family over the past year since their house burned down in September, 2024.

Series: Do Not Fear
Text: Exodus 14
When the Israelites had the Red Sea in front of them and the Egyptian army behind them with no way out, God told them to be still and let him do the fighting. Fear prevents us from living freely. Fear limits our perceived options. And fear gives people too much power while making God too small. When you find yourself in an impossible situation, trust God to provide the 3rd option.

Text: Exodus 5-7
Moses was a reluctant leader who was chosen by God to deliver his people from slavery. This meant he had to go 'back home' and engage with the leaders of his people and confront Pharaoh. When things didn't go according to plan, Moses had to learn the same lessons we all must learn. When God is with us, we have no reason to fear stepping out of our comfort zone.

Series: Do Not Fear
Text: Exodus 3-4
Fear is and can be a helpful emotion, keeping us safe and warning us of impending danger. But when fear takes charge of our internal control panel, our internal and external lives become disordered. Fear warps reality, making things seem bigger, scarier, and more threatening than they really are. Especially if that fear is coming from deep inside us. Moses had to learn this lesson when he came face to face with the God of the Universe.
