Tulsi (Holy Basil)
Tulsi, also known as Holy Basil, originates from the Indian subcontinent and is widely cultivated in Southeast Asian tropics. Revered as the Queen of the Herbs, Tulsi holds significance in Hindu culture as a sacred plant, an avatar of Lakshmi the consort of god Vishnu. With upturned leaves reaching towards the sun, Tulsi is considered blessed by deities, symbolising divine origins and eternal blessings. Aligning with Tulsi is seen as a means to invite abundance, joy and prosperity. The plant's cleansing properties make it a protective force when diffused in a space, deterring negative energies and even thieves. Beyond its spiritual symbolism, Tulsi helps individuals navigate life's challenges, fostering focus, resilience and reclaiming control. In the midst of life's distractions, Tulsi guides inner focus, aiding women during menopausal transitions and supporting mental clarity.
