This week, the South Sound co-op participated in a pulpit swap. While Pastor Kellen was away, we were joined by Pastor Denise from Lacey-St Andrews UMC who blessed us with a wonderful message.

On transfiguration Sunday, pastor Kellen taught the congregation the examen prayer and encouraged us to find the divine light among us so that we can share it with the world.

This week, Pastor Kellen preached on transformative stillness (especially in times of distress).

This week Pastor Kellen challenged the congregation to practice more gratitude as a way of being more active participants in our own lives and to 'catch others alive' for the gospel.

We continued the Luke story from last week to see how Jesus' ministry is first and foremost to those on the margins. We as the church are called to that same work.

This week Pastor Kellen challenged us to find God's wisdom in Scripture and live bravely into our call to follow Jesus in the face of difficult times.

Pastor Kellen preached on the story of Jesus turning water into wine and challenged the congregation to lean into the mystery of how God works in the midst of tragedy and our role as Christians to petition God.
