  • Tinselectomy [disquiet0415]
Funny, this coming along after me complaining to Mrs T, as she put up decorations, that we haven’t had tinsel for years. See, she hates the stuff.
So, I used the sound of a bell tree (you know, those ones that feature a whole string of miniature tubular bells) and did all the usual stuff to it.

The Assignment: Tinsel is your latest instrument.
There is just one step this week: Make a piece of music that explores tinsel for its sonic properties.
Of course, feel free to interpret this as literally or figuratively as you desire.
Step 1: Include “disquiet0415” (no spaces or quotation marks) in the name of your track.

  • The Portland Mangle Mix
Second of two remixes of https://soundcloud.com/wilwilwil/wilfried-hanrath-portland-an-invitation-for-an-open-collab
This one made using my funny little standalone demo copy of The Mangle, which did most of the work as I mostly sat back and listened, with a tweak here and there.

  • The Portland Ambient Mix
First (well, second actually) of two remixes of https://soundcloud.com/wilwilwil/wilfried-hanrath-portland-an-invitation-for-an-open-collab
This one made mainly using Audiobulb's ambient software (the old version).
