Dale and I have been friends for about eighteen months. We've held space for each other during some of the most difficult terrain either of us have ever traversed, and our connection has quickly grown roots that keep us communicating physically and telepathically between her home in South Africa and mine on the east coast of Australia consistently.

In 2023, we were part of a mastermind called Touching Wild with our mutual friend and previous guest, Madeleine Burgoyne. ⁠Check out our episode here⁠. We went deep into subconscious patterns, desires and honest-to-God dreams. Facing the hard questions ("so what if you never reach your full potential?") and revealing such tender pieces of ourselves bought us close, quickly.

She has been kindling for my fire, a mirror for my magic and a safe place for my full expression. Her empathy is so strong, the neglected and dehumanized places in my Soul can't help but unfurl themselves in her presence.

I'm not used to having friendships with women who love people like I do (we're a rare breed) but receiving the heart, ear and soft belly Dale continually offers up inspires me to keep exposing my Self to the world, regardless of what it costs in terms of comfort and my ideas of security.

We're strikingly similar and deliciously different. We are both drawn back to ourselves over and over again by a desire to witness this delightful game consciousness is playing out with and through us and to cultivate an unshakeable sense of self.

In this conversation, we cover sacred ground that includes undying love, real freedom of expression and closing the gap of longing for what we don't have by becoming it.

Dale also beautifully articulates the difference between theoretically knowing we are free, and actually experiencing it, and how important it is to PRACTICE the feeling states we need and want to embody more in real life.

An avid adventurer, Dale has been on a journey of self-exploration that has taken many forms. The past incarnations of her career include personal training, fashion design, makeup artistry and life coaching. Her most recent dance with divinity is in the realm of Burlesque.

There is potent medicine here. Listening back, I could feel our conversation unravelling tension and opening a portal that helped me relax and drop into a deeper experience of myself. I found myself transfixed, hungry for more.
