Canadian born, Nashville living country artist MacKenzie Porter is my guest today and she's here to share all about her new album AND her new baby but she’s also got a pretty amazing story of how she got where she is today.

From a cattle ranch in Alberta, Canada to Nashville, TN, MacKenzie always had a love for music, but had to balance that with another love of she had, acting MacKenzie shares what made her move to Nashville and what it was like to uproot her entire life and move to a city on her own.  How did she landed a record deal with Big Machine Records?  And what's her advice for someone else trying to pursue the same sort dream? 

MacKenzie also shares the story of how her chart topping duet with Dustin Lynch came to be and how a “follow back’ on instagram was the first clue it was happening.
