04.30.2025 | Obedience Over Fear | Pastor Johnny Kovar

In his sermon, Pastor Jeff Wickwire discusses the common human desire to understand the reasons behind life's challenges and God's actions, emphasizing that God rarely provides answers to our "whys." He reflects on the story of Job, who faced immense suffering and received silence instead of explanations from God, illustrating that divine silence does not equate to absence. Pastor Wickwire reminds the congregation that God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours, and our limited understanding often prevents us from grasping the full picture of His plans. Ultimately, he encourages everyone to trust in God despite unanswered questions, asserting that faith is built during times of uncertainty.
