If we are being honest sometimes, we allow religion to go before Jesus. We allow our preference, what we think, or our knowledge of the word to blind us to the life change that is taking place around us. Jesus is bigger than our religion and our traditions and will meet us in our unbelief.

We are closing out this three part mini-series on making a ministry impact. This Sunday’s challenge is by far the most stretching. We are going to learn about engaging in Bible conversations with people. Now many of us may feel very uncomfortable and intimidated about bringing up Bible truth in a chat with someone. Yet our world continues to get bolder, and bolder with its representation of lies. So we need to gain a fresh level of confidence from Hebrews 4:12-13 and recognize that we are increasingly accountable for incorporating the living and powerful Word of God into some of our conversations.
