What does the word "successful" mean to you?  To many, success is based solely around WORLDLY things like money and careers.  However, as you look through the Bible, many people, including Christ Himself, didn't have a lot of money nor career success yet were some of the most truly successful people to ever live.  This sermon helps us put some things in perspective about what TRUE SUCCESS is and what we need to do to achieve it!

The hymns we sing are great reminders for us of our responsibility as Christians as well as the reward that awaits us in eternity.  In the song, "Mansions Over The Hilltop" we proclaim, "I've got a mansion!"  However, before we sings songs with this message, we need to make sure that we are living in such a way that we can receive that "mansion" when this life is over!

Instead of focusing on all of the BAD that's going on in our country, why not focus on something AMAZING!!!  In Lamentations 3, Jeremiah reminds us that God Mercy, Comfort, and Great Faithfulness are new EVERY MORNING!!  Now THAT is something we can focus on!!!
