Fire Emblem, Nintendo's turn-based tactical RPG series, received three new entries earlier this year in the form of Fire Emblem Fates. Birthright, Conquest, and Revelations show three sides of the same story, and each offers unique challenges and fun.

Recently Nintendo dropped the exciting news that their new console, tentatively called the NX, will be launching in March 2017. At the same time they announced that Zelda would be delayed to launch alongside their new console, and E3 would be all about Zelda. And only Zelda. Paul and Allen don their sackcloth and ashes for this episode as they enter full mourning mode and lament the woes of a Nintendo fan in 2016.

Mario & Luigi have often embarked on team-based RPG adventures together, and Paper Mario has likewise struck out with a variety of companions in a flattened journey. However, in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, the three meet, together, hand-in-hand, and take on both Bowser and Paper Bowser as a trio of unstoppable jump machines. Nintendo's latest Mario RPG on the 3DS is sure charm, and it charmed us for sure.
