We want justice, compassion, and human dignity—but where do those values come from? Faith doesn’t just promote goodness; it makes goodness possible.

Sometimes life doesn't make sense in the moment. But with faith and hindsight, we come to learn that God has been with us, helping us all along. He never abandons us. He is always faithful.

We all live by a story—about who we are, why we’re here, and what matters most. The Christian story offers beauty, resilience, and a purpose even in suffering.

Even in an age of deconstruction, belief hasn’t vanished. In fact, it still speaks to something deep in every human heart.

Today we have a special worship service to build around the beauty of Summer, and the new possibilities for us of getting out and about, serving the Lord as we go. The whole worship service is oriented around different facets of this important theme, using the book of Jude as a basis.

Holiness is found in Christ's example. Holiness is experienced as God's gift to us. And holiness must also be practiced as our way of life and our attitude toward one another. What does holiness look like in action?

It is easy to lose sight of the Eternal in the temporary where we live. But the place to which God calls us goes beyond what can be touched or measured. We must not reject the invitation to be connected to the life of God's anointed, whose blood speaks powerfully on our behalf. 

In our race for Christ, sometimes it feels like we are only limping toward the finish line. Yet through our struggles, we are educated and perfected in the ways and culture of our faith. We get stronger in the struggles and must therefore embrace how God can use them.

A special word on Mother's Day. We appreciate all the ways our mothers reflect the heart of God. Jesus, in his tenderness, patience, and strength, is an example for all of us in how we treat one another.
