In de vorige afleveringen kwam het gevoel dat mensen denken overgeleverd te zijn aan grote technologiebedrijven meermaals naar voren. Dat werd stellig ontkracht, maar in hoeverre kunnen we invloed uitoefenen op de koers van de technologie in ons leven? En hoe pakken we dat aan?
In deze aflevering praten we met Marc Steen die zich bezig houdt met ethiek in technologie bij TNO en schrijver van het boek Ethics for people who work in tech en met Wladimir Mufty, adviseur publieke waarden bij SURF om antwoord te geven op de vraag wie stuurt wie?

These services can be paid-for, possibly a handful of euros per month. Instead of ‘free,’ where you pay by giving away your personal data, your attention and your time.”
