The first time around didn't wow me at all... Maybe this time will be different. I really love the Saw franchise, so it kind of hurts when I decide there's a film or trailer involved that doesn't get me excited at all. I'm hoping that seasoned Saw franchise director, Darren Lynn Bousman, brings it back home after that last flop of a film for me. Enjoy, folks.

This is a funny little predicament I'm in here... As someone who has his own unpopular opinions about the 1974 Black Christmas film, I'm strangely interested to see how this fan film plays out. The remake is another story, but fan films have done more good than bad in the past year or so when I review them. So having not expected a sequel film to the original Black Christmas, it'll be good to see how they follow this story and titular character in particular. Enjoy, people.

I had to take full advantage of the fact that I've been up for hours, and get this one out the way... I've gone from excited to concerned to optimistic, so it was only right I be completely fair with this. The nostalgia I have for it deserves it. Hopefully these new Ducks (technically non-Ducks due to this premise) can skate by with their brand new personalities on screen. Enjoy, y'all.

Funny enough, this has been on my watchlist for about a month or two... And even though I've seen it plenty of times, it's always a good underrated viewing. Not only was it a solid directorial debut for Robert Englund, but the character of Hoax is so satisfying to root for and watch throughout. It's a good 80s wake up call for bullies, and should definitely be remade for the same exact reason. Enjoy, folks.

Finally got a chance to cover this underrated entry, and what a better day than today to get it done... I wish this director was still around to see this film get the flowers it deserves to this day because in my opinion, it gives me everything a FT13th film should give and adds a bit extra for the better. Not to mention that Kane Hodder's portrayal of Jason Voorhees is superior to any for me. It just sucks that the MPAA got their sensitive and silly ass paws on this and trimmed it all the way down. But it still works like a charm. Enjoy, people.

Fede Alverez, who's producing the new Texas Chainsaw flick set to release this year, gave the people some decent news this week pertaining to our favorite cannibal slasher... So being as though it was a breath of fresh air, as far as a direct sequel is concerned, I decided to do my ranking for this series. I've stated before that this is a set of movies that has little to no damn continuity whatsoever so if a direct sequel creates yet another timeline, so be it. But before we see that, I had to give you guys my worst to best TCM entries. Because there are both hits and misses here. Enjoy, people.

The Snyder Cut is literally closer than ever and while I'm more than excited for it, my brain has been on overload about something that pertains to that... All of this is making me wonder about moments when true visionary directors didn't get a chance to convey their specific visions on screen. There's always some red tape to go through in situations like these, but I feel like there shouldn't be if a director is specifically hired to do a certain job. It should be their's to helm, and their's only. But in some cases, studios and producers feel the need to have a pissing contest and not allow a director something as simple as creative control. So there's some flicks out there that I wish I could see alternate cuts of that would maybe do them a bit more justice on screen. Enjoy, y'all.
