This case was almost like a Narcos’ episode - the American series based on the life story of drug lord Pablo Escobar.
However, this lawsuit was not about him. In fact, it regards the daughter of a different drug cartel leader, known as “El Mencho”. Nemesio Ruben Oseguera Cervantes, who goes by “El Mencho”, is a Mexican drug lord and cartel leader of the Jalisco New Generation. He’s not only a fugitive as he is the most wanted criminal in Mexico and one of the most-wanted in the USA.
