We visited the Meta Fish Food Company poultry processing plant in Villavicencio (Meta). They implement all biosecurity measures to carry out the poultry processing process. Worthy of note is the waste management system to prevent pollution and protect the environment. All leftover organic waste is collected and taken to another agro-industry dedicated to producing flour for concentrated feed. Contaminated water is directed to special traps and treated to decontaminate and reuse it.
