En el Departamento del Huila en la cuenca del Río Ceibas, se ha venido realizando desde hace varios años un proceso de conservación con un trabajo en equipo entre una empresa de turismo, diferentes entidades del gobierno y la comunidad, cuyo objetivo es cambiar las prácticas tradicionales de producción agropecuaria que deterioran al río y su hábitat, por una economía en conexión con la naturaleza.

En el municipio de Sogamoso departamento de Boyacá, encontramos tres granjas vecinas cuyos propietarios decidieron unirse y trabajar de manera mancomunada, logrando con éxito sembrar y cosechar una gran variedad de productos orgánicos, implementar posadas campesinas y ofrecer a paisanos y turistas los deliciosos platos gastronómicos de la región, garantizando así la seguridad alimentaria de estas tres familias.
