After a month off, TV Sessions is back with a new episode! While we await the back half of Better Call Saul’s final season, Gabe and Luke return with a discussion of a new season for another stellar show, Season 3 of HBO's Barry! For the first half of the pod we share our rankings of every show we’ve watched this year before breaking down this bold and ambitious season of TV orchestrated by Bill Hader. As always we go in-depth by getting into our favourite characters, episodes and scenes and we are very much looking forward to Season 4!

Gabe and Luke are back to talk about the mid-season finale of Better Call Saul’s final season! Wow, it is hard to put into words how phenomenal this episode was but we did our best by breaking down as much as we could. We ended up with our longest episode reaction yet but we really felt this one deserved it. This masterful episode titled “Plan and Execution” written and directed by Tom Schnauz will go down as one of TV’s greatest episodes. So many emotions, so much payoff and an ending scene that may go down as one of the most shocking things we’ve ever seen. The Saul team left us with so much to think about and we can’t wait until July 11th! This is as good as TV ever gets! 

Gabe and Luke are back to talk about another new Better Call Saul episode, this week’s instalment is titled “Axe and Grind” and was directed by Giancarlo Esposito! With the first half of the season winding down, we had some drinks to celebrate and the passion is at an all time high! We ended up with a discussion over double the length of our previous live reaction episodes! There was so much to talk about here, especially the complexity of Kim Wexler, and of course we had tons of fun rambling on the greatness of this show yet again!

Luke is back for the second week in a row to talk with Gabe about another new episode of Better Call Saul! This week’s episode titled “Black and Blue” was another classic Saul slow burner. Turns out there were some slight disagreements on the quality of this one but we still had a great time breaking it all down, especially the return of a favourite character!

Gabe is joined by Luke for the first time in many months to talk about the newest episode of Better Call Saul! We start off catching up with Luke’s thoughts on the season so far before getting into detail on this week’s episode titled “Hit and Run.” What a great episode! This one is a bit disorganized with thoughts all over the place but the passion is definitely there, this show is something special and we can’t wait for new episodes! What a finale! Succession did it again with yet another masterful season and wow did things end with a bang. Join Gabe and Kat as they break down a very memorable finale with an outstanding final stretch. Thanks to anyone who joined the ride and listened for these weekly Succession episodes. We will miss covering this show for now but are highly anticipating Season 4, this wait will be tough!

The end is near and wow are we getting some phenomenal television. Gabe and Kat are back to break down the penultimate episode of the season “Chiantishire,” and we are ready to add another to the bank of top tier Succession episodes. This one was really something special.
