In the Mirror Dimension, Iris meets Eva, who has been stranded there ever since the Particle Accelerator explosion knocked her into the mirror in her office. After all this time, she has not been able to find a way out. Iris suggests that they try the same strategy they used when Sam Scudder trapped someone in the Mirror Dimension, however this plan fails and the mirror shatters. Meanwhile, Mirror Iris asks for access to the Mirror Gun to help research Black Hole. While in the basement, she has a run-in with Nash who is still seeing a vision of Harry. Dibny finally runs into Sue Dearbon who is being targeted by gangster John Loring. During a brief raid on Loring's hideout, Ralph reluctantly reveals to Sue that he is Elongated Man. While attempting to steal Loring’s ledger from the bank where it’s being held, Sue double-crosses Ralph and leaves the vault only for her to run into Loring and a squad of his goons. Ralph escapes and uses his elasticity to shield Sue from the bullets fired by Loring and his men. Ultraviolet shows up and beats up Loring and his gang before targeting Ralph and Sue. Getting the diamond she needs, Sue sneaks away while Ultraviolet fights Ralph. When Ralph states that they have been played, Ultraviolet gets away. Loring and his men stand up and are handcuffed by The Flash and arrested by the police with Joe telling the bank manager that Elongated Man was working with them. Iris discovers that Eva can manipulate the mirror as she puts the mirror back together. In her hideout, Sue analyzes the diamond that has the icon of Black Hole on it.
Barry and Iris' valentines date is interrupted by Amunet Black, who steals a valuable brief case containing a device. The two track Amunet to Ivo Labs where she is confronted by her ex-boyfriend Goldface, who gets away with the device Amunet was attempting to steal. Barry and Iris witness the confrontation between them, before leaving with the device in the brief case. After a brief argument with Barry over life choices, Iris allies herself with Amunet by giving her the device. Afterwards, Amunet and Goldface reconcile as do Barry and Iris, who is revealed to still be trapped in the mirror at McCulloch Tech and that Eva was impersonating her the whole time. Meanwhile, Frost convinces Allegra to reconnect with her ex boyfriend, while Nash starts seeing visions of Harry.
Following Oliver's death and the events of the "Crisis", Iris, Allegra, Kamilla and Cecile, who have formed Team Citizen, continue investigating a secret organisation called Black Hole. Iris meets with an anonymous source who says that Black Hole is connected with McCulloch Technologies, but it’s CEO Joseph Carver denies these claims. Iris ignores Cecile's legal advice and decides to write her own story on Black Hole, prompting the latter organisation to hire metahuman Dr. Kimiyo Hoshi / Doctor Light to kill Iris. Meanwhile, Diggle arrives in Central City to give Barry his custom made mask he gave to Oliver from the first time they met. Barry notices a trace of Mirakuru serum on the mask, believing it contains a warning message left behind by Oliver for a new threat. The two investigate on Lian Yu only to discover there aren't any Mirakuru serums on the island. Back at S.T.A.R. Labs, Iris' team set up a trap for Dr. Hoshi, while Iris again confronts Carver and blackmails him on being involved with Black Hole, prompting Carver to call of the hit. Carver insinuates to Iris that his missing wife Eva McCulloch is connected to Black Hole. Later, Iris investigates McCulloch Technologies where she is pulled into a mirror. Still reeling from learning no other Earths were restored, Cisco decides to leave Team Flash after the Crisis made him feel guilty for taking the metahuman cure and leaves Nash behind with the team.
LIVE CRISIS HOUSE PARTY
With the Flash under his control, Bloodwork attacks Central City and converts most of its citizens into his "Blood Brothers and Sisters". Cisco and Iris argue over how to save Barry and stop Bloodwork, but both of their plans fail. However, Bloodwork chooses not to convert them in favor of enacting the final phase of his plan; taking the Particle Accelerator to spread his blood across all of Central City. As he makes his way inside, Cisco and Iris realize that during their last encounter, Barry used his connection to Bloodwork to save them and secretly tell them how to beat him. Using a combination of Bloodwork's blood, the particle accelerator, and Allegra's powers, Team Flash subvert Bloodwork's plan and cure Central City of his influence. With his plan foiled, Bloodwork transforms into a monster to kill the Flash and begin anew, only to be distracted by a hallucination of his mother long enough for the speedster to trap him in Runk's prison. With Bloodwork remanded to A.R.G.U.S.'s custody, Team Flash spend their last moments before Crisis together just as red skies loom over them. Meanwhile, Nash uncovers a wall of symbols before a blinding light pulls him inside.
Despite Ralph's best efforts, Rosso drains his blood. Frost gets him back to S.T.A.R. Labs, where Barry gives him a blood transfusion. However, a small trace of Rosso's blood enters Barry's bloodstream; causing him to pass out. The Speed Force, in the form of his mother Nora, tells him that Rosso's blood contains his consciousness and is slowly infecting him as well as grants him access to Barry's mind; including knowledge of his secret identity and impending death. Using his memories against him, Rosso tries to convince Barry to join him; promising him the power to avert not only his death, but countless others. The Speed Force tries to argue Barry out of it, but accidentally provokes him when he realizes he was their pawn and he will never get what he wants while serving it. Cisco and Frost eventually revive Barry, but when Iris comes to check on him, she quickly realizes it's not him. Fully infected, Barry attacks his friends and reports to Rosso, who's ready to enact his masterstroke as Bloodwork. Elsewhere, Iris, Kamilla, and Allegra investigate the organization that turned Esperanza into a killer. They learn the group's name, Maelstrom, but their only other lead is mysteriously killed.
