In episode 9, the Sistas wonder into scifi glancing at the impact of shows like the Star Trek franchise on diversity. They also spend some time on a new Netflix movie, The Old Guard directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood. One sister likes scifi, one doesn't. Can she be persuaded?

It is part of African American history and has been depicted in many movies and television shows, but these two stand out from the pact. The Sistas talk Gangsters. This show is about The Godfather of Harlem starring Forest Whitaker and American Gangster starring Denzel Washington. Although these movies are flawed, they give a glimpse of our history.

In this episode the sista square off over who was the best tv defense attorney, Perry Mason or Matlock. Each has their plus side, and a few minuses. They present their message to you the jury. The verdict is left up to you. Who is the Best?

Episode Six

In this week’s episode, the Sistahs talk about The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency and Queen Sono which are two shows that have strong African characters in the lead. These shows have women in nontraditional roles and showcase the beautiful land of Botswana and South African

In episode 5, the Sistas talk about how shows like Designing Women and Living Single brought a strong message about women from the 1980s and 90s. There were not many examples of strong women on television at that time. Even though one show was geared toward a Caucasian audience, the other an African American, they both created moments that are still funny today. They created timeless comedy but uplifted their subject matter.

In this episode, the Sistas talk about the James Bond franchise. They talk about the impact it has made on the culture, introduce their new rating system and share their hopes for the future of the franchise

In this episode the Sistas talk about the impact The Jeffersons, the sitcom by Norman Lear, and Self Made, the Madam CJ Walker Story had on the culture. Self Made is a limited series currently on Netflix. At the end of this episode, they tease episode 4 which will be about the James Bond franchise. We do not own the rights to the James Bond theme.
