Ade is on fire in this episode! Her insight to the new year are not to be missed! Speaking of missing…we watched “Missing You” on Netflix we always have questions about these quirky novel remakes, but all in all this one was pretty good! 

Ade and Kelly share in the art of Christmas tree trimming, how type A personalities work in thier favor, the fever that is retail customer service and Ade explains how the power of patience can get you practically on stage with Mariah Carey.  We also get into our first Christmas movies of the year! Ade and Kelly are back from a little autumn break and we are ready to get into the holidays, but it has been a minute so we just got to do a little friend catch-up! Things we can agree on-we would never be an airline stewardess, gossip girl high school lifestyle is false and 3 years of podcasting is a JOY!

What is better than a film that takes you back, maybe you remember what theatre you saw it in and with who, maybe you just remember the bad haircuts. Ade and Kelly check in about some things they have rewatched lately from the 90s: The Faculty, I Know What You Did Last Summer and Critters. Then things take a turn and we are talking The Conjuring and Children of the Corn and how to prevent spirits from following you! Take it from us! We got ideas!!

I can’t remember everything we discussed in this episode, but we made ourselves laugh and that is what is important! TV shows were also featured somehow: Queen of Tears and The Influencer, both can be found on Netflix.

Kelly shares some of her farmer’s market etiquette and Ade questions the true value of the Costco samples experience. Ade shares about true romance with Netflix’s King the Land, Kelly fills us in on The Influencer and the episodes ends with a book recommendation by the author, Jessica Knoll.

Kelly and Ade try to get the bottom of “BRAT summer” and I guess for Kelly it is watching murder shows. She gets into Netflix’s Mastermind: To Think Like A Killer and Sasha Reid  and the Midnight Order on Hulu, honorable mention MindHunter on Netflix. Ade lets us know that The Thursday Murder Club is the book of the summer at the local library, but maybe not for her.
