Title: Has God cast away His people?

THESIS: IF THEIR BEING CAST AWAY IS THE RECONCILING OF THE WORLD, WHAT WILL THEIR ACCEPTANCE BE BUT LIFE FROM THE DEAD?


I. The Jews were cast away because they rejected and killed Christ.
II. Their evil led to the greatest good: the salvation of the world.
III. Their acceptance of the Christian faith means their spiritual resurrection.
IV. Applications:
a. God brings forth good from the worst evil.
b. We pray for the conversion of all people. No one, not even the people who killed Jesus are eternally barred through the kingdom.
c. The Jews may only enter the kingdom of God by faith (against dispensationalism).
