TwelfthTake

In this episode we talk about the 2 conference finals and the all-NBA teams. We actually get into a pretty heated debate on whether or not your teams record and making the playoffs matter, so this is a good episode to listen too if you like when we disagree. We also need to note that the audio quality is a little lower than normal, but it should be better next week. https://ia601506.us.archive.org/32/items/Episode16_20170522/episode%2016.mp3

We start off by breaking down the Celtics-Wizards series and then preview Celtics-Cavaliers. We talk about the Celtics Lottery Luck as well, so if you don't like the Celtics you can skip to around the 26 minute mark for overall lottery talk where we give you our winners and losers. We do the Celtics lottery talk at 23.30 if that interests, but the playoff talk does not. https://ia601505.us.archive.org/12/items/CelticsBonusEpisode/Celtics%20Bonus%20episode.mp3

In this episode, we talk some more about the NBA playoffs. We start with Spurs versus Rockets and try to quantify how much coaching matters in these playoffs. Then we talk about Spurs versus Warriors while also hitting on the "dirty players" debate that's been going on. We end on Celtics-Wizards. https://ia601507.us.archive.org/0/items/Episode15_201705/Episode%2015.mp3

Sorry for the delay and the missed episode last Sunday, but life happened and a recording got corrupted. You still got a bonus episode last Saturday, but we do apologize. In this episode, we break down all 4 of the round 2 NBA series. We even get into a little Lebron legacy talk just because how amazed we have been of him this playoffs. https://ia601505.us.archive.org/23/items/Episode14Edited_201705/episode%2014%20edited.mp3

We have too much to talk about so we are bringing you guys a bonus pod. We start by reviewing the NFL draft. We are no experts, but we still have an opinion on all that went down. Then we move to the NBA playoffs where we talk Celtics-Wizards before Game one happens on Sunday. You can expect the rest of our playoff talk to come tomorrow during our normal pod. https://ia601502.us.archive.org/5/items/NFLDraftCelticsWizBonus/NFL%20Draft%2bCeltics%20Wiz%20Bonus.mp3

We're back with some more NBA playoff talk. We ran through the different series. We started out east with Caviliers-Pacers, Bucks-Raptors, and Wizards-Hawks. We talked Warriors-Blazers next, but spent a lot of time on the other 3 west series(Clippers-Jazz, Spurs-Grizzlies, Rockets-Thunder). We ended with Celtics-Bulls. We went a bit long, but I think the talk was worth it. https://ia601501.us.archive.org/25/items/Episode13_20170424/Episode%2013.mp3

Too much stuff has happened for us not to talk about it. We are back again talking the 1st weekend of the NBA playoffs. Our Celtics got upset and some big things happened, so we needed to bring you guys our thoughts. You can expect some more of these throughout the playoffs if our schedule permits. https://ia601508.us.archive.org/11/items/BonusEpisode1_201704/Bonus%20episode%201.mp3

NBA 1st round Preview! We go series by series, giving our thoughts on both teams and try to predict how the series goes. We try to be as insightful as possible and try to layout a scenario in which an upset occurs. https://ia601508.us.archive.org/28/items/Episode12_20170415/Episode%2012.mp3

We start of talking some MLB. We don't really have any major thoughts, because its way too early for that, but we are very happy its back. Then we move to the NBA. Anthony talks about Lavar Ball and we give our thoughts on the season as a whole. We talk surprises, race for playoff spots, and try to give our opinion on what the season will be remembered as. We wrap up the podcast with Anthony getting to talk some go with the Masters and Ben getting to talk some soccer with the US in CONCACAF world cup qualifiers. https://ia801509.us.archive.org/23/items/Episode11TwelfthTake/Episode%2011%20twelfth%20take.mp3

Our NBA awards show. Its a bit of a longer episode, but its a good one. We give our all-NBA teams, MVP, Coach of the year, defensive player of the year, Rookie of the year, and 6th man awards. We have some disagreements, but we work them out and have some pretty insightful discussion. We are planning to have some sweet NBA talk over the coming weeks so you are definitely going to want to watch out for that. https://ia601503.us.archive.org/17/items/TwelfthTakeEpisode10/twelfth%20take%20Episode%2010.mp3
