What actually happens in the first 72 hours after you move to a new country alone?
I’ve been in Milan for about a week now, and I keep thinking about the first 72 hours.
Everything technically works. You got there, your bags are unpacked, you know where a few things are. But nothing feels automatic yet. You’re slightly off in every interaction, even the simple ones, and you realize how much of your confidence is tied to familiarity.
In this episode, I’m walking through what those first few days actually felt like for me, the small moments that caught me off guard, and the few things that helped me get grounded quickly.
If you’re about to move, or you’re in the beginning of something new, this is the part people don’t really talk about. But it’s the part that sets the tone for everything else.
This episode will help you move through that initial phase with more clarity, confidence, and intention, instead of feeling lost in it.
