This Sunday, we’ll dig into 2 Peter 1 where we’ll discover three reasons to believe that the Bible is fact, not fake.

The first Christians seemed to really trust their Bible – Genesis through Malachi. In just about any situation, they turned to God’s text message for guidance. More than that, they believed there were some new writings that were no less a part of God’s text message.

God’s people encounter a crisis from which there appears to be no conceivable escape. Just when all seems lost, God shows up to deliver. That’s how the first fourteen chapters of the book of Exodus unfold. It’s also a summary of the entire Bible. In the coming year, you and I will face crises, disappointments, maybe even disasters. Here’s the good news – God still shows up.
