  • Put Aside Deeds of Darkness

The night is nearly over, the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

  • Momentary Troubles, Eternal Prize

We do not lose heart. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. Run to get the prize.

  • How Can You Be So Numb?

Oh, bless me, Lord, bless me, Lord, you know, it's all I ever hear. No one aches, no one hurts, no one even sheds one tear. Do you see all the people sinking down? Don't you care? Are you gonna let them drown? How can you be so numb, not to care if they come? You close your eyes and pretend the job is done.

A piercing call to awaken from spiritual apathy, confronting indifference to the lost and urging compassion, urgency, and action for those in need of truth.

Song edited: Asleep in the Light by Keith Green

  • Since My Youth, You've Taught Me God

It is God who arms me with strength. He trains my hands for battle. Since my youth, God, you have taught me. For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth.

  • All In, Sold Out for Jesus?

Where our treasure is, there our heart will be also. True worship is wholehearted love for God, not mere words or divided loyalty. Following Jesus means full devotion—counting the cost, loving Him above all, and not looking back.

    Scripture References: Isaiah 66:1-2a, Matthew 15:8-9, Matthew 6:21, Matthew 22:37, Luke 14: 26-30, Matthew 10:37-39, Luke 14:31-35, Luke 9:62

  • Ever Hearing, Never Understanding

The seed (the Word of God) is perfect. But the soil (our hearts) is the issue. For where our treasure is, there our heart will be. We can give our physical ears to hear the Word, but with a callous heart.

If we don't truly value understanding the truth, the knowledge of the secrets of the Kingdom will be hidden. And every seed of truth will be tested in our lives before it can bear fruit.

    Scripture reference: Matthew 13:3-23

  • Lord, I Want To Love Perfectly

Jesus, let my heart stay in tune with yours, cleanse my heart, so I will see others through your eyes. May mercy, peace, joy, and hope fill any place that has been darkened by offense.

A prayer rooted in love, asking Jesus to cleanse the heart, align it with His, and replace offense with mercy, peace, joy, and hope toward others.

Owe no one anything except to love (Romans 13:8).

  • Who is This Who Darkens Counsel

After losing his health, wealth, and children in inexplicable tragedies, Job questions God's integrity. God responds, "Who is this who darkens counsel by words without knowledge? Now prepare yourself like a man, I will question you, and you shall answer Me".

When Job got the answer, it wasn’t the one he wanted. He was undone by the questions God asked him.

Like Job, we may wrestle in suffering and try to question God’s ways, but His response reminds us of our limited understanding and His boundless wisdom. He is the Creator, sovereign over all things, whose purposes are higher than ours. True wisdom is not in demanding answers, but in humbling ourselves before Him, trusting His character even when we cannot trace His hand
