Twin Rivers Music Scene had the amazing opportunity to sit down with Hayden Redwine, an incredibly talented singer-songwriter from West Texas, at the legendary Continental Club in Austin during SXSW 2025.
The Continental Club opened in 1955 and has become famous for its intimate atmosphere and its role in showcasing both up-and-coming and established artists. Located on South Congress Avenue, the Continental Club is known for its diverse range of live performances and is a key part of what makes Austin's "Live Music Capital of the World" so unique. The venue has hosted iconic acts such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Ely, Lyle Lovett and many others throughout its long history.
Hayden Redwine recently released his debut album, ‘Spade’, a beautifully written 10-track project that showcases his ability to poetically weave personal experiences into his music and deeply resonate with listeners. Hayden’s sound is raw, gritty, and real – a vocal depiction of his cowboying days in the rodeo. We had a great time sitting down with Hayden and talking with him about the surprise guest at his album release party, his father’s inspiration in his music, his time spent rodeoing, and so much more.
We hope you enjoy this special episode of the Twin Rivers Music Scene Podcast, filmed at the iconic Continental Club in Austin, Texas.
