Welcome to the Ides of March! On occasion, we will regale you with our own holiday celebrations (besides Halloween, which was fairly obvious back in October). This time around we're discussing Saint Patrick's Day (March 17th) and Tolkien Reading Day (March 25th -- you'll find out why in the episode). Pour a pint and enjoy!
Musical clip at the end: "The Ides of March" by Iron Maiden (from the 1981 album Killers).
Just a bit more from our mead talks! The third (up to now) of three. Will the episode sound odd? Probably, since it was one of our first and we're just now releasing it. But hey, it's free! Plus, this one goes a bit more into detail on the making of this beautiful golden bevy.
For more on mead, you can check these articles out, written by James. Detailed instructions on making the meads are given therein.

Welcome to the third of four episodes where we discuss Professor Tolkien's essay "On Fairy Stories!" Here, we get into section four of the essay, Fantasy. Sit back with a pint and a pipe and ready yourself for some folklore and Middle Earth Hobbity goodness.
Welcome back as we finish up the pre-Zep Zeppelin episode, after which we'll take a bit of a break from the band, until we come back in a few weeks with their history during the making of their first album and their touring at that time!
Welcome to the first of two episodes on the history of Led Zeppelin before they were Led Zeppelin! (Which will be an ongoing series of Zeppelin, as well, but that's for future James and Jody to worry.) Here we discuss what the bandmates were doing up through the end of 1967, focusing on their professional lives starting around 1964, but we do hit on their childhood a wee bit, as well.
