📝 Sermon Description
In Acts 8:1–25, the persecution that follows Stephen’s death scatters the church—but instead of silencing the gospel, it spreads it. As believers are driven from Jerusalem, they carry the good news with them, and the gospel breaks new ground in Samaria just as Jesus promised.
Through Philip’s faithful proclamation, we see that God uses hardship to accomplish His mission, crossing cultural and historical barriers to gather a people for His name. This passage reminds us that Christ is building His church, the Spirit is at work, and no opposition can stop the advance of the gospel.
