TwinPodcast

As our recap continues, we touch on the nuance of morality vs family and address the structure of the royal family, and how this cozzy livs is pure pandemonium! Some political figures have damned their souls, and Denzel may have damned his social media feed with his Beyoncé take.

We wanted to make sure we capitalise on having another guest on the podcast, so before he left, we asked Andu for  his perspective on therapy, and who would he go to it with. This led to a really good and open discussion about the reasons as to why we would or wouldn't give therapy a try, and the pros and cons of it in relationships.

On this week's episode, we're joined again by Andu who walks us through how the recent bank holiday made him come to an epiphany about the landscape, and age range difference in the black London scene. Did you break the bank once outside was open? And do you still go to full-on house motives in ends?

On this episode we discuss the online attitude towards people's body image, and why we feel a level on entitlement to comment on it, especially when it comes to fat women and short men. Where did we learn these ideals, and why are we so content on being ignorant to the issues people go through? We also debate if this will ever change, and how it can change.

On today’s episode we speak about the inequalities between men and women in the perception of relationships and in the rap game. Why are women the ones that are made to feel embarrassed when their partners cheat on them, and why are female rappers viewed as female rappers, and not just rappers??

On today's episode we have a special guest, and friend to the show, Tyra. Best way to describe her? In the words of Lex, a 'media boss.' She guides us through her journey of discovery from interning at radio stations to having a bi-weekly show on No Signal radio, through to videography and her YouTube channel. And as the 10 year anniversary of Frank Ocean's Nostalgia Ultra recently past, it only made sense to reflect on what music and black creativity looked like 10 years ago, in contrast with the landscape now.

On today's episode we talk about how big TikTok has become in our lives and how much it affects culture. We dig deep into the consequences of going through life milestones, such as university, without actually having to interact with people and if this will become the norm as the end of this pandenemic, at least within the UK, is not clear.
