The runes spoke, and LN answered.
A high-octane, mythology-drenched Viking Metal experience, forged on the Northern shores and built for those who crave sound with soul. Fans of Amon Amarth, Ghost, and Heilung — this one’s for you.

We saw her at Breaking Bands and true to its purpose, we came home with a new favourite band.

This was my daughter Marinas real taste of music and one of her first interviews, the catchy vocals of 'Hangmans Son' beckoned us over and from that moment we became firm lifelong fans. LN's impressive vocal range reminds me so much of Arch Enemy as well as their catchy riffs, perhaps that's why I was drawn to them.

Be sure to check them out, you will not be disappointed.

Struck/Down are a five-piece groove metal band hailing from the heart of Kent. Blending their love of classic groove metal with modern heaviness, they aren’t afraid to pull from a wide range of genres to create a sound that’s entirely their own. Their influences span icons like Black Sabbath, Machine Head, Black Label Society, Gojira, and Lamb of God.

Formed in 2014 as a hard rock outfit, Struck/Down have steadily evolved into the powerful modern metal act they are today. Their debut album Gone dropped in August 2019 to a packed hometown release show, marking the start of their mission to spread their music across the UK. Even the pandemic couldn’t slow them down — in 2021 they released their five-track EP From Demons, keeping their momentum strong.

Now, the band is pushing into new territory. Their upcoming release, To Witches, showcases a faster, heavier, and cleaner sound, fuelled by fresh energy from new members joining the fold.

Be sure to check them out because I had so much fun chatting to them next to their rusty band wagon❤️

Some of you may have noticed I've been absent for a while now....Well...I have a new recruit in the Twisted, Torn And Moist camp in the form of my daughter Marina and Breaking Bands was her first festival at 3 months old (well 2 months technically as she was a preemie) but how cool and I can't wait to show her the photos and share the memories made when she's older!!! She is all kitted out in her Alpine Muffy Ear Defenders and Regicide were the first band that I interviewed with her strapped to me in my wonderful BabyBjorn Harness! We had a wonderful time seeing friends old and new and of course introducing Marina to her Rock Family!

Regicide are a Thrash/Groove Metal Band hailing from Essex and I absolutely loved chatting to them, they certainly entertained me and were great fun to chat to! Go and give their socials a "like" and/or "follow" and catch them before they are HUGE!

I'm sure you'll all agree when I say that it's extremely important to encourage the younger generation and to get them involved as much as possible in the music scene...Well, this kid is one of the coolest on the scene, most of you probably recognise him from busting his moves on the dance floor with his air guitar or on the barrier at gigs rocking out with his inflatable guitar, busting moves with his sister Kara whilst his wonderful parents proudly watch on. Rumour has it, he's also learning the Drums, so all you drummers out there better watch out!!!

Abel Reed, my trusty assistant and whenever he asks if he can interview a band for me, I jump at the opportunity because he's absolutely awesome AND most importantly it gives him the experience, there's no doubt about the fact that he is too cool for school!!

Here he is, interviewing one of his favourite bands Trucker Diablo!!! What better way to celebrate Rockwich's 10 year anniversary than by this wholesome interview.

I've known Gricey for many years, let's rewind 14 years back to when he signed for Leek Town, a familiar face down at what was then called Harrison Park (now known as the F.Ball Stadium. Tim over the many years has developed such a wonderful fan base, perhaps it's because he is personable and makes time for you, no matter how old his fans are. Thank you to each and everyone of you for giving your time up to talk about Tim and also for taking part in my Gricey quiz!

How impressive is this?!

*500 Appearances

*250 Goals

*14 Penalties taken

*12 Yellow cards

*1 Red card!

Me and Gricey share the same interests in music and would often talk about gigs we had lined up, usually whilst he was warming up before or during the matches. I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing him the best in his future.

I've been saving the very best until last.
I had the pleasure of catching up with my buddies Big Dan, Little Dan and Kathryn at Uprising, we had a damn good laugh!
You can always rely on the Dans to mark their territory and that's exactly what they did by drawing a huge penis on my interview table haha!
These are 3 of the nicest people you'll ever come across in the music scene so please go and support them by checking out their projects.

I caught up with these guys at Breaking Bands Festival and despite me thinking they were named after somebody named Michaela who likes permanent brew they soon put me right, they gave me their CD and it was then the penny dropped that they weren't named after Michaela after all!

They are currently storming the UK Blues scene and when I caught up with them earlier in the year they said they hadn't got many gigs planned, I'm so glad that this has since changed and their name is appearing all over festivals and venues around the country!

If you haven't already then please check them out and if you are looking for a hard working band with a fantastic sense of humour then these are the guys for you!

Earlier on in the year I had the pleasure of catching up with My Favourite Nemesis where they played at UPRISING as part of their 6 date UK Tour, they are a Finnish metal band with over 2 million streams to date, they have solidified their place in the Finnish metal scene and have an actively growing fanbase worldwide.

They have just released an EP, "We Annihilate I," which has had over 50,000 streams and 200,000 views on YouTube. It has been featured in major media outlets, including Revolver Magazine’s “6 Best New Songs Right Now” article and a review in Metal Hammer.

If you haven't already checked them out then go and do so immediately!!

It seems like a while ago that these guys absolutely ripped M2TM Leicester a new one at Uprising!! Running With Knives (yes, their band name is bloody brilliant) talk about their journey to get to where they are now and what to expect when they play the New Blood stage, Bloodstock Festival Saturday 10th , a little birdie also told me they may even sneak in a new single in their set!
We had a real good chat on the roof of the 02 Leicester and these guys really do know how to have a good laugh, I was in hysterics quite a few times during our chat and so was anybody else listening in!
These midlands based musicians proudly describe themselves as metal with a cutting edge-Clever eh?!!

Be sure to check these guys out and if you are at Bloodstock Festival next weekend then they are an absolute must!!

It's been a couple of weeks since I last released an episode, many festivals have happened over the last few weeks and I wanted to ensure that this band gets your undivided attention. Its alright though, Twisted, Torn And Moist is still in the UK USA, Turkey and Global charts!!!

Sunday night Breaking Bands 2024 headliners Stickmen closed the festival with a big party as voted for by the BBFest community, they really did not disappoint!
Breaking Bands has a band for everybody and these fun loving disco punks really did leave their mark, rumour has it the confetti is still in places we shall not talk about!!

If you haven't already checked them out then you really need to, because these hard working Stickmen really deserve your support!
