  • STORY 10: WHY I DIDN'T REPORT

    *TRIGGER WARNING*

ClaudBee and Bird talk about how the last few weeks have been especially triggering for survivors. An irresponsible tweet from a perpetrator in power about how the validity of a survivor's experience is based on whether or not a report was made, sparked the viral hashtag: #whyididntreport. As people who value the power of storytelling and as survivors, these two B's wanted to provide space for other survivors to share their experiences, specifically why they didn't report.

Special thank you to the six survivors who so bravely and generously shared their personal stories with us so that we may share with you. Thank you Yvette, Nicole, Mala, Survivor 1, Survivor 2, and Survivor 3. You are so strong. - Claud and Bird

*TRIGGER WARNING: THIS EPISODE CONTAINS INFORMATION ABOUT SEXUAL ASSAULT AS WELL AS PERSONAL ACCOUNTS FROM SURVIVORS, WHICH MAY BE TRIGGERING. YOU'RE WELCOME TO LISTEN, BUT YOU'RE ALSO INVITED TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND LISTEN WHEN YOU'RE READY*
