This week, we decided not to go on with our regular coverage of tech news stories but to have a conversation regarding the police brutality against the black community in America. It is important that we talk about it and encourage others to as well. It is the only way we can bring about change in our society. 

We realize that we are in a privileged position and speaking up on this one occasion may not matter but this is a learning for us to have the courage to speak up despite what others may think or say.

In this first episode of Two cents on Thursdays, we talk about our reason for starting a podcast as a way of extending classroom and phone call discussions with listeners.
