Two Copy Crimes You Should Never Commit

As a copywriter or a content writer, your goal is to write copy that is easy for your audience to understand. Over the years, Dan & Terry have figured out a few easy ways to do that.


On today’s episode of The Copy Corner, we’re going to let you know two “copy crimes” you should never commit.

First, stop relying on filler words, specifically “that.” Most of the time, you can cut “that” out of your copy completely.

Second, instead of writing, “We are blank company,” focus on the solution you provide. Change those “we’s” to “you’s” especially in your website’s headline.
