On this episode we head back to discuss one of the greatest sci-fi horror movies of all time. Hear our take on the movie for what it really is. A sci-fi horror movie from the 50's. You won't hear any politics here. Just our usual fun times discussing the plot & more. Listen in to hear what our ratings are for this classic gem.

It's.... The Thing! John Carpenter gave us a reimagined version of the 1950's original. And while it was a flop at its release, The Thing has become a cult classic since it appears on every top 100 list of horror movies ever made, famous for its special effects and for its paranoid psychological tone. So, fire up your trusty flamethrower! Because trust is a hard thing to come by these days.

On our 54th episode we are talking about Mike Flanagan's Hush from 2016. Discussing the "Shush Cut" version and how unbelievably amazing it is. We dig into the movie with everything from cinematography, sound, acting, practical effects and more! Don't miss out on our conversation about one of the most unique home invasion movies out there!

"Ever hear of a ritual killing"? Put on your fedora's & light up your cigars. On this episode we head back to 1989 to talk about the family charity case Uncle Buck. We discuss the movie in full along with the one and only John Candy. We all miss John but at least he left us with some of the greatest comedies out there to date. We hope you get as much enjoyment out of this episode as we did.

Jerry and Billy seem like normal neighbors.... if you can ignore the blacked-out windows, apple cores in the yard and the coffin being carried inside. While the rest of the neighborhood goes about their business, teenager Charlie Brewster comes to realize the suave guy next door, Jerry Dandrige, is a vampire.

Join us as we discuss what is arguably the best vampire movie of all time: FRIGHT NIGHT!

"THAT'S A LOT OF FRENDO'S"

We're hacking and slashing our way through the cornstalks on this episode of Clown in a Cornfield. What intrigued us to watch this was director Eli Craig who also directed Tucker & Dale vs Evil. It has to be awesome right? Well, we would be lying if we said this was an awesome movie.

Click and listen to find more about Frendo the Clown, a strange town, delinquent kids and an unnecessary "romance". We also dig into the cinematography, practical effects, blood and gore, acting and more.

Don't worry! We're still a horror movie podcast. We thought it would be fun to add a little something extra into our show. Once a month we will be discussing a movie that's not horror. Something more Nostalgic. It starts here with our 50th episode!

We're talking about Planes, Trains and Automobiles. And of course we get into discussing the late great John Candy. This was a movie that we thought would be hard for us to not steer away from and go off on tangents. We said screw it and did it anyway because it's John Candy. Listen to hear more. We hope you enjoy it. This one's for John.
