Monsters destroying a city like the video game it was based on: CHECK. Dwayne Johnson being his standard bad-ass self: CHECK. Just a little bit of plot to help move all of this along: CHECK. Ok, works for us. That is all we needed to enjoy this movie. And that is all you should need as well. We all know what we are going to this movie to see.

Join Clay and Corey as they rampage through 'Rampage.' Pointing out the few minor issues with the characters and timeline but over all enjoying this fun action movie. I mean really, what has The Rock ever done that was not amazing. We can't help but love the guy.

One word to describe this movie: Hope. Hope that you can protect your family from crazy fast, blind aliens. Hope that you can repair a family after a tragedy. Hope that you can show your kids how much you will go through and what you will sacrifice for them. And this movie gave us hope that Hollywood still has some good ideas coming out of it.

Clay and Corey gleefully recap and review this true masterpiece by actor/director John Krasinski. A fresh and fantastic terror movie. The minor nitpicks we had this episode were more because the movie was so great. The cast, the sets, the sound department. Everyone knocked it out of the park on this one. Sometimes it seems like we should rename our show: "Grumpy-ass Dads in Their 30s Talk About Movies They Don't Like." With a few of our past reviews being positive, we have mostly had major issues with what Hollywood has put out this year. And sorry Mr. Spielberg, we don't take it easy on you.

Well, it was giant robots fighting giant monsters. A whole bunch of it. Possibly too much plot and exposition that cut down the time for more robot/monster fights. This latest installment in the Pacific Rim universe does not disappoint especially if you liked the first movie.

We did it! A movie that didn't suck! Alicia Vikander IS Lara Croft. A fantastic performance leads this action / adventure romp that reboots / retells this franchise. While it won't change your life, it is definitely an entertaining origin story that will leave you wanting to see the next one.

Well....we went and saw Death Wish. This movie surprised us in ways we didn't know were possible. Join us on this infuriating romp through this snore of a movie. Hey, we can't all pick winners can we. We promise you more entertainment in this podcast than the 2 hours we spent watching this movie.

I usually try and find something fun and funny to say about the movie or our reaction to it but I cannot seem to find anything this time. Next week we are reviewing "A Wrinkle in Time" and we just hope it is better received than this movie.

Is this movie too smart for you? Are you to smart for this movie? Who knows. But what we do know is that Clay and Corey went and watched it and had very different takes on the caliber of movie that it was.

Alex Garland takes you on a ride that either tells you everything you need to know or tells you nothing at all. You decide. If you liked his directorial debut, 'Ex Machina,' then go see Annihilation in the theaters (if you live in the USA or China). If you didn't like 'Ex Machina' wait and watch 'Annihilation' on Netflix in a few weeks.

A Marvel movie like neither of us have ever seen. Black Panther is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the tried and true (and sometimes over used) way superhero movies have been made. Ryan Coogler builds an emersive world with fantastic characters. Not without its flaws, but they were certainly few and far between.

We have reached the top of the mountain...or volcano...or whatever you want to call it. Star Trek: Discovery Season 1 Episode 15\. The finale of this pretty amazing first season did not disappoint. With less action than we are used to but more easter eggs than we could count, it did not disappoint.
