Two Dudes and Tunes episodes

  • 013 – I Did Not Hate This Album (Third Rock From The Sun)
This week on Two Dudes and Tunes, Wood lays one of his all time favorite albums on the alter of Chris’s opinion, only to have it rejected as unpleasing… Wood’s not too mad about it, but I bet you can guess who writes the show notes now! Seriously though, we had a great time talking about this album and can’t wait to share it with you. As Chris stated, “I did not hate this album…” Why don’t you give it a listen and let us know your thoughts on Joe Diffie’s 1994 classic, “Third Rock from the Sun”
As always, join the conversation and give us a like, a share, or a review, we would greatly appreciate it!

  • 012 – Eating Venison, Drinking Beer (For Emma, Forever Ago)
This week on Two Dudes and Tunes, Wood and Chris wonder what kind of man locks himself in a cabin and records his opus while living on venison he shot and prepared, while drinking cases of beer his dad brought him. While it may sound like something akin to the Unibomber, it’s really more in tune with literary great Henry David Thoreau and the masterpieces he penned while living in solitude on Walden. Bon Iver is certainly an interesting project and we hope you find his story and this album as intriguing as we did.

  • 011 – PERCEIVED Loudness (Stadium Arcadium)
This week on Two Dudes and Tunes, Wood and Chris talk about The Red Hot Chili Peppers 2007 album “Stadium Arcadium” It is arguably the best of the RHCP cannon, but Chris thinks he can economize on it, while Wood is moved to violence in defense of an almost perfect album. Who’s side would you fall on?

  • 010 – You’re Gonna Get Yowling (Blood on the Tracks)
This week on Two Dudes and Tunes, Wood and Chris talk about Bob Dylan’s “Blood on the Tracks”. Released in 1975, this is arguably one of the greatest all time breakup albums ever released. It is Dylan at his rawest. For Wood this album proved to be a pretty big challenge, but we will let you hear what he had to say about that. We hope you enjoy this episode!

In this week’s episode, Wood and Chris tackle George Strait’s 2004 mega compilation “50 Number Ones”. • 007 – Sorry: Broke My Leg (Medicine at Midnight)
This Week, Wood and Chris take a break from your normally scheduled content to talk about the newest studio release by the Foo Fighters. “Medicine at Midnight” is a rollicking good time with many of the things we really love about a Foo Fighters album. Yes, we know, two weeks in a row with one band, but it’s worth it! If you have a problem with fate, take it up with the Oracle! We are excited to talk about something neither of us have listened to and have opinions in time with other reviewers.
