On today’s episode Matt and Sheridan record at the Lahave Cabin! Nestled on the ocean with a beautiful view, they thought it would be fun to switch it up and record somewhere different. 

Sheridan chats about the oh so popular ‘Love is Blind’ Netflix series that Matt has never heard of, which leads to a lengthy conversation about relationships and if love is really “blind”. 

Digging deeper into their own relationship, they chat about the argument that they got into last week and how they are both feeling about it now that the dust has settled. Matt does a great job at explaining how he has been feeling internally as of late and Sheridan tries her best to understand where he is coming from.

Hi friends! We missed ya.🤍 It always feels a little strange when we miss a week, but it was for good reason. We took the time away to reflect on our podcast and what we can bring to the table going forward, so thank you for that constructive critism. 

Today we touch on mental illness, depression, cancel culture and Sheridan’s hesitation to say anything that is too controversial. We also chat a bit about branding and the evolution of Instagram. A bit of an all over the place journey but a great discussion too!

Fast forward to us moving into opinions and how they’re actually quite wonderful as long as everyone is willing to listen and be heard equally. 

Followed by some parenting chats, some life chats and a whole lot in between. At this point it’s getting kind of hard to specify what exactly is talked about because we kind of feel like we talk about it all. But isn’t that the joys of a totally unscripted podcast? 😎

On today's episode Matt and Sheridan hang out in their sweats and come back to the online world after the hurricane that affected the East Coast of Canada. They get into a conversation about the movie “Where the Crawdads Sing” as well as The “Dahmer” series on Netflix and discuss their opinions on a few pop culture topics. 

This leads into chats about parenthood (what else is new) and the question looming of how much your home life and parenting affects your children’s upbringing and future. 

Wrapping the episode up on being sleep divorced and whether that’s a fun idea or not followed by a ridiculous Christmas tree story from Matt, this episode will make you feel like you’re hanging out with two friends at a dinner table.

On todays episode Matt and Sheridan announce that they have officially started “counting their steps” on their watches and over the last week Sheridan has been floored at how much she actually moves. Matt on the other hand .. 😬 

They chat about the pressure of putting their children in competitive sports and wondering if their peers also feel the same way or if it’s just a decision that comes naturally to them.

On todays episode we circle back on how horrible the #OneChipChallenge was. Absolutely do not recommend such absurdity, do not say we didn’t warn you. We spend the rest of the episode chatting about Pat Stay and the impact that he had on the world. It’s been a very heavy two weeks and we both felt it simply wouldn’t be right to not talk about it. The world lost a talented battle rapper, his friends lost a partnership, his children lost a father, and his fiancé lost a life long love. Matt and Sheridan celebrate three years of marriage! On todays episode they chat about what they did for their anniversary (hint: it includes lingerie) reminisce a little about their wedding day and dive into how to maintain a healthy relationship. As it turns out, they’re still trying to figure it out themselves, but appreciating your partner more than criticizing them comes top of mind. Marriage is a ton of work, and they are more than happy to work through it together while also hoping it gives their listeners the opportunity to reflect on their own marriage and relationship.
