It was the United Nations World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development yesterday. To mark this event, Lee and Gwilym spoke with Nina Ferara, Sally Bannan and John Gray from the European Patent Institute's Diversity and Inclusion Committee to discuss the cultural differences within Europe and how they are helping their colleagues to find a common understanding on EDI issues.

This year's theme is Women and IP: Accelerating innovation and creativity.  To celebrate, we're sitting down with Vandita Chandrani,  Associate General Counsel IP at radiotherapy pioneers Elekta.  Vandita tells us about female-centered innovation, dragon boat racing, what private practice attorneys can learn from in-house counsel (and vice-versa) and how comedy improvisation is the secret to success.

To kick start this years celebrations Lee and Gwilym are sitting down with founder and CEO of the The Global Women Inventors & Innovators Network, Dr Bola Olabisi. Bola talks about why she started the network, how she and the network support female innovators, and the importance of championing female inventors.
