Is all evil just a corrupted form of good? If you believe this then how should you teach your children to choose the correct path in decision making? Do we expose them to such evil so they have to choose what is good? Do we protect them from everything and morally isolate them from reality? Do we focus on the evil or the good? To discriminate in the pure sense of the word means to make a judgement between two things. How does the process of discriminating play out in the lives of our children and in our own lives? Tune in today to hear our discussion on this important topic.

Today we discuss how Crystal spent more money than she knew she should have on garden seeds and committed "financial adultery", a term coined by Dave Ramsey. We talk about her feelings and the steps that led her to make this decision. We pair this up with 1 John 1:8-10 and discuss the process of sin and how easy it is to deceive ourselves and justify things we knew we shouldn't have been doing in the first place. Has this ever happened to you? Tune in to today's episode to hear how this spending spree turned out in the end and how to avoid getting yourself tangled up in this process to begin with.

In today's episode we talk about how God sometimes speaks to people through a process of engaging both their minds and their wills. How does this happen? Where do our free wills and God's sovereignty collide? How does God accomplish His purposes in the world through His people? Listen as we brainstorm about this interesting topic.

Today we discuss a fact of life about time. All of us have the same amount of time and the better we use it the more life we end up saving. One hour a day saved and used purposefully ends up turning into over 15 days a year. How much time in life can we win back? I don’t see people having regrets who do this.

Today we discuss the Old Testament book of Jonah. The mercy of God is not what most people think of when reading this Pre-Jesus part of the bible. So, how should we think about evil and God’s role in the affairs of mankind? Is it possible that God’s mercy is the reason that evil is still a curse on the world? Don’t we wish for justice on the wicked murders and cruelties of people executed on the helpless?

Today we discuss how I learned some valuable lessons in ALERT (International ALERT Academy) at an abandoned copper mine in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Why do we value some hard things over others? People that physically compete in sports are almost universally respected for their effort but in contrast a mother who works just as hard to raise a large family is scorned. Why?

Talk to you in 2021.

Today we discuss the heart of what most conspiracy theories revolve around. We also delve into the topic of evil and how the world seems so full of it that at times that it seems like we are all doomed. However, there is a solid hope found in the Bible that should strike fear in the souls of those bent on wrongdoing and offer comfort for those who trust in God’s solution to evil, Jesus Christ.
