A solo episode with Nyesha/Uma is here to take you her journey as an epileptic. Diagnosed at 21, Nyesha didn't know was epilepsy was and was unaware how this would effect her life in the future.
Although she's come to terms with this incurable disability, becoming a mom has added unwanted emotions. As a two mom household, many people think it will be difficult explaining to Abigail who her donor is, but that's the easy part. Explaining to her child her brain functions differently is what will be difficult.
If you have any recommendations on explaining disabilities to children, please share!

We traveled without baby for the first time in 2019 and it was the best time we had in a while with mom mode turned 100% OFF!
We were honored to speak on the Family Planning Panel at The Weekend Soiree'
This was the 2nd annual 4-day retreat for Dope Queer Womxn from all walks of life who were ready to seek physical, intellectual, and creative growth in an exciting and affirming environment. We had the opportunity to explore everything that TWS has to offer in New Orleans, including creatively-focused and fitness-based workshops, professional development sessions, a Queer comedy show, speed dating, a burlesque variety show, their signature Weekender’s Ball, and much so more!
We digested the schedule down to the best of our ability as there were over 50+ events and we could not attend all that we wanted to but those we did attend exceeded our expectations!

We know we literally have not recorded an episode in months and that is because we thought we could handle so much at one time. We started booming with our book, figuring out out to effectivley manage our online apparel store and be present as moms, wives and daughters. Being honest with ourselves and most importantly our listeners, we literally could not juggle all we thought we could.
Now, we are back. Back with bold topics, a little more direct, a little more real than before and of course exciting updates about our growing baby.
Stay tuned for it all!
Parenthood is always a journey and baby number one was a major milestone. Join us as we share our journey towards baby number two and listen in on our process. Listen in on Nyesha's only two reasons why she wants baby number two and why Samantha believes clothes do not define gender.

Today we share our "ideal" relationship and what we believed we wanted before we met one another. With that, after actually getting together we realized we had to make changes and sacrifices and fully understand we are always working on ourselves.

We had a baby, now we have to do a second parent adoption--what? Uma has to adopt Abigail to make parental rights 1000% official in the USA at least. This requires tons of paperwork and a social worker sitting down with us for 3.5 hours discussing the day we were born down to Abigail's favorite foods--what a journey! We question, why is this necessary for a second parent adoption and why we believe all new parents should have a "Parenting" class.

We as Two Mommies and a Baby always get bombarded with questions we didn't think would come about. Why are people asking us "are you going to raise your child gay"? We address questions that people believe it's okay to address while we're having a casual conversation. While we're open about our life, boundaries are important!
