Welcome to listeners in Dundee, Scotland. It might be Scott Galloway from the Pivot podcast as he just celebrated a birthday there.

Dave recounts his time in Black Mountain, NC, which is a bit cooler than Florida.
It included two bear sightings and some challenging bike rides. He had a nice discussion with a Park Ranger about the bears causing local family pets to disappear. Speaking of pets disappearing, watch this video by John Legend on Springfield, Ohio.
Del outfoxes the auto wiper blade industry by learning how to double the life of the blades. Strange detroit-looking men appear in Sarasota. Coincidence?
Dave reviews the 2024 Ig Nobel Awards for dubious research. Del lets it slip that they did the cat and cow experiment in Junior High.
Del comments on the Golden Batchelorette realityTV show. In the end, people need people.
Dave appeals to listeners to help his wife's cousin, Eddie Vygontas in Lithuania, who suffered a freak spinal column injury. He is raising money via his GoFundMe page for stem cell implantation surgery.

Dave is overwhelmed by the sound of a clone phone ringing during a thunderstorm at rush hour.
Kelce [Collice?] brothers get a podcast deal even more lucrative than ours. Maybe we'll invite them on sometime.
Del wants to challenge the AI taking orders at Taco Bell. What has your experience been?
Del thinks LiMu Emu in the Liberty insurance commercial is either real or the same actor who played Captain Kirk in Star Trek. Dave says it is CGI. What do you think? Better, what do you know? Tell us.
Would you like mustard on your listeria? Don't eat that stuff, folks.
The politics of destroying parks and elections in Florida. Maybe we should move to Georgia where everything is perfect.

Give us your feedback on the story or anything else on your mind.
The top-voted bonus track from last week was Imagine by John Lennon. We'll give you some more choices this episode. Think about the Wolff story when you listen to the songs.
1. Gregg Allman and Jackson Browne sing Melissa. Is Thomas at a crossroads?

3. How about Little Lies by Fleetwood Mac? 'Nuff said.

Dave walks 110 miles in Europe. Is he too cheap to flag a cab?
Del flaunts his predictions on too much or too little water and e-bike dangers. The Free State of Florida declares war on bears and the NFL makes rule changes, an independent event.
The Bucks reminisce over the past 200 episodes, talking about some of the highest downloads and some of their favorites as well as guests and co-hosts. Special nod to Bridey Thelen-Heidel, whose book is coming out next month.
Ukraine has been our single most important topic. Special thanks to Paul Tregouet for his help in this area.
We've otherwise only touched on politics a few times but we heartily endorse the Harris-Walz ticket. If you don't like Kamala, read Project 2025 and you will.
We do appreciate political humor and in that vein, present this link to an explanation by RFK Jr [his dad would be so sad] about the bear and the bike. It comes in at minute 56 on this podcast called Hacks on Tap.
It's been a good run and we're not done yet, just slowing the pace. As promised, you get three bonus tracks. Which is your favorite?
Joe Cocker getting a little help
Sarah Mclachlan remembering you

We interview Annie Tregouet and Yulia Ovstrovska in St. Omer, France.
We first interviewed Annie, who teaches French to Ukrainian refugees, on our Feb. 9, 2023 episode.
Yulia, one of the refugees who was an accountant and lawyer in Kharkiv, was interviewed by Annie's husband Paul on our July 7, 2023 episode.
In today's episode, we revisit them one year or more later to find out what has changed for them and what has not. While Yulia feels safe in France with her daughters and they have adapted to the French culture, she longs to return to Ukraine where the war is at a stalemate at best.
To learn more about the personal stories coming out of this war, listen to the TOB episodes below:
We interview Phoenix, a Ukrainian doctor recovering from his wounds received on the front lines on the Feb. 16, 2023 episode.
Paul Tregouet discusses his supply mission to Ukraine in this Jan. 12, 2024 episode.
This episode on Feb. 23, 2024 honors Ukrainian students killed in the war.
You can donate to Remembers.org, which provides humanitarian support to Ukraine.
You can donate medical supplies through Paul on the Amazon France website. Yes, it's in French but you click in all the same places to complete your order. In the shipping section, be sure to click on the Tomasz address.

The Tour de France is half over and a thrilling Tour it is. Here's five minute recap of a five hour race. Dave loves it but, yes, it often makes baseball look action-filled.
Posh En glish accent, too.
Next week we interview two women we spoke to a year ago in St. Omer, France.
Your bonus track options this week include the melodic Fleet Foxes and The New Radicals, an old Dave fave.
